SiteAcuity seeks a Production Systems Administrator. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of web server operations in a J2EE environment and MySQL database.

• Maintain high level of security, uptime and performance on Linux and Windows Systems
• ICreate and maintain accurate data models
• Work with development team to model and implement data entities to support new application requirements and features
• Support and maintain all databases within the production, testing and development environments
• Work with hosting facility Network Operations Center for mission critical 24x7 support
• Administer existing hosted facility and work with client services team to quickly and efficiently solve network and application issues
• Develop database tuning and maintenance strategies
• Design and maintain change processes for both database and code
• Maintain separate Development/Test/Production environments and databases
• Meet new requirements with in-house, open source technologies while avoiding outsourcing where possible
• Create, maintain and enforce policies, methodologies, procedures and maintenance plans
• Assist the development team in creating SQL scripts and queries and generate reports and dashboards for the product

• BS or Technical Degree
• MCSE Certification or equivalent work experience
• Microsoft Certified Database Administrator or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years working experience involving Systems Engineering and Administration duties
• 3+ years working experience involving database administration
• 3+ years working experience supporting Apache based products
• Must have a firm working knowledge of client-server architecture and database schemas
• Microsoft Operating Systems, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System, Virtual Servers, MySQL Server, server migrations, server deployment, system backups, performance monitoring and network architecture
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Technically “hands-on” and ability to handle multiple tasks
